On February 14, 2012 Arizona turns 100, and there's going to be a month long party! The last of the 48 states to be admitted to the union Arizona is one of the most biologically diverse states in the U.S.
People who haven't visited or lived in Arizona believe it's one giant desert, (remember all the John Ford Westerns), but the truth is we are home to at least 10 different climate zones and 7 million people most of whom came from somewhere else. As many of the photographers of that great magazine can attest, you can spend a lifetime discovering Arizona and never see it all. If it sounds like I'm proud of my adopted home, I am. 2012 is going to be a great year in AZ, so drop by and join in Arizona's Centennial Celebration, Arizona has something for everyone.
