 The rental home at 115 BLUEBELLE DRIVE is in a good area of Madison and since it is in an established neighborhood, there shouldn’t be any grief over John’s vehicles. He will need to use discretion but there is not an HOA. Please let me know if you don’t hear back from the listing agent and I will see if I can help.

 
The link below is to the the listings that you indicated an interest in. You are correct in that Arab would be a long commute. In addition the schools that serve the area are not good making eventual renting or reselling difficult.

154 FORD CHAPEL DRIVE is in a desirable, growing area. It is near a neighborhood that was hard hit in the April 27 tornados and was hit in 1999 by tornados as well. While there is no logical reason that the area would be more prone to tornados, some residents of the neighborhood are concerned and not rebuilding.
 
107 HORSESHOE BEND is in a small Madison neighborhood just off of one of Madison’s major north south traffic arteries. The house is about a block into the neighborhood and there will be some traffic noise. During rush hour there will be some difficulty in entering traffic.

189 FIRESTONE DRIVE is in an older Madison neighborhood just off Highway 72 / University Drive. The house is about 200′ from the highway. There is another house and trees as a buffer so traffic noise will be somewhat abated. The last time I was in the area the homes were well maintained and the neighborhood appeared to be stable.

128 MOUNTAIN VIEW is in an excellent central Madison location. It is over 1,000′ from the nearest traffic artery and located on a cul-de-sac. The neighborhood is stable.

208 RINDON LANE in Hazel Green is in a  very rural area. The neighborhood is just north of the Alabama A & M Research Farm and there are attractive views to the south. There is however a auto junk yard to west of the neighborhood just across a field.

There is a grocery store and pharmacy within about three miles.
 
236 SCOTT ROAD in Toney is also in a rural area. It is to the west of Hazel Green.  I am a little concerned about the properties immediately surrounding the house. There are two old mobile homes across the street. The property to the immediate left is also a mobile home.

114 SINGLETREE DRIVE is located just north of Hazel Green within a neighborhood of comparable homes. The commute will be a little longer than the 208 RINDON LANE home but the grocery will be a little closer.

144 CAMBRON ROAD in New Hope concerns me on location. The high school that serves the area has a bad reputation and low graduation rate. At one time there was drug problem in the school. While schools are not an issue for you, they will be upon an eventual resale or rental. The link below is to data on the high school.

129 RIVER DOWNS DRIVE is located in my favorite part of the greater Huntsville area. We moved from the city to northeast Madison County 5 years ago and regret having not moved sooner. There is basic shopping in place with more under construction. The schools are good. The commute into the city is usually modest.
