Another Politically Correct Absurdity...

Santas in Australia have been told not to use Santa Clause's traditional "ho ho ho" greeting because it may be offensive to women.

Sydney's Santa Clauses have instead been instructed to say "ha ha ha" instead.

One disgruntled Santa said a recruitment firm warned him not to use "ho ho ho" because it could frighten children and was too close to "ho", a US slang term for prostitute.

Gimme A Break!Have people totally lost their minds?It is bad enough,we get chastised for saying Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays and now this nonsense!

Where does it all end?Are people really this thin skinned that what people say makes them cry?

I am sorry if I may be offensive..but...Ho Ho Ho and Merry Christmas to all!

well, let me tell you a little story - I used to teach school for years, right in Pinellas County - high school - once the new lingo for 'ho' became popular, we used to have a real problem - everybody ho-ho-hoing each other during the Christmas season - you can imagine - guys giving girls 'the look' and saying ho-ho-ho! It was a real pain in the rear-end for teachers!!!!

Naturally in the teacher's lounge that was a different story - we would laugh our butts off over some of the stuff!

I sure did live in another generation..as we used to call girls dogs...LOL I couldn't imagine calling a girl a ho....just the world we live in I guess.
