Refridgerator magnets are cute, but tend to add to an overall look of clutter when your home is being shown. Fridge mags can make your kitchen look more dated than it actually is.
Try to imagine how much better this photo would look if all of the clutter is removed from the counters and all fridge mags and towels put away. It may seem like a small thing to the owner, but first impressions are important!
Here on the Oregon Coast, I see many vacation homes for sale with too much clutter in the kitchen. The first thing I do for a listing with an out of area owner is tidy up the kitchen and put the fridge mags in a plastic bag where they can find them when the house goes in to escrow. MLS photos are always better without fridge mags in them!
