It's winter, it's frosty and it's time for Winterfest, an annual event at Harris Pavilion in Historic Manassas.

Each winter Harris Pavilion becomes an outdoor, but covered public ice skating rink. Winterfest is an opportunity for the community to enjoy live music, free s'mores, play Broomball (similar to hockey except the hockey sticks are brooms), take pictures and exercise on ice skates.

Hi Karen, This certainly looks like a fun venue. I haven't skated in a lot of years but it sure looks tempting for about 10 seconds. Then reality would set immediatly set in and I would just watch, :-)

Bruce, This is not the railroad station - this is a new facility across the street - the old rail cars are part of the historic railroad station's collection. If we have re-enactments I'll be taking pictures - our 150 year events were last year
