Memed...by Jay

Well, this contagnation hasn't stopped yet.  The memming continues...my dilemma is:  Who do I mem?  But before that I'll pay my dues.  I have three children and my "baby girl" (15) is my middle child.

Five things that the Active Rainers don't know about me.

1)  I spent several years in foster care growing up.  Definately a different experience and I could write a book about that....  I think the lack of a home was a driving factor in my becoming a Realtor.

2)  I taught Defensive Driving for years.  I love to teach, probably even more than I love to sell real estate.

3)  Though I've lived in Texas more years than I ever lived there, I was born and raised in Michigan.  Lapeer is where I grew up.

4)  I'm 44 years old....(how can that be?)

5)  I am an avid reader (when I have time) and real fan of quite a few old classics.  Of Mice and Men and Grapes of Wrath are two of my favorites.

Now, who do I mem???  I'll go through the list and try to figure it out!!!

Chris....   hey, looks like I am early to the party.

So, you are still alive after teaching defensive driving. Was it taught to anyone? Just new drivers?

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks for sharing Chris and you don't look a day over 29.

I had relatives that always took in foster children so I always had new cousins to play with when i was little.

Now I just need you to teach my wife some defensive driving.

Thanks Jay

Jeff, you showed up before the appetizers were out :)  Defensive Driving is a 6 hour class for people who have tickets or want to get a discount on their auto insurance.  Captive audience...I loved it!  Got to tell all my crummy jokes and everything!

Chris- youre 29 to us for as long as you want...I am 40 so right behind ya!

As a foster parent I can only say you have done a very fine job with your Career and it sounds as if you have a passion for life. You should pick up some Nicholas  Sparks books when you have some reading time. Famous for The Notebook but some real touching stories...hes my favorite.

Hi Chris I confess it wouldn't hurt if I took defensive driving. I actually think Monika has a better driving record than me anyways.

Thanks Jay

KK, I memed Donna Harris, Kay Van Kampen and Cynthia Sloop.

Carole, I probably should have worn a helmet sometimes, but no...we don't actually drive with them, just tell the horror stories, (and the funny stories) and show many gruesome films...

Jay, Most people can use a gentle reminder....even me!
