Wordless Wednesday - Barbeque, Anyone?

Did I mention it's been a little icy around here lately? We've been experiencing a very unique and fun (sense the sarcasm) natural phenomenon... freezing rain. It's rain, but instantly freezes to whatever it falls on. Our back deck barbeque grill is an excellent example of the result. Actually, we have icicles on everything, but this struck me as especially funny.

This would never happen here.  Ever!!!!  I barbeque year round.  Even in 3 feet of snow!   No time for ice to grow here!!!!

Hi Gretchen and Mel,

Perhaps a grill cover is in order!  I remember once when we were living in NJ, we had an ice storm that dropped 8 inches of solid ice!  Scott went ice skating down our street.  It was a super cold winter and it took a several weeks before all the ice melted.  Unbelievable.

I prefer my steaks to be cooked, "Rare".   That looks like the perfect grill!
