Those are great.  Years ago we had a bird of paradise plant in front of our living room window that had lots of blooms.  late one night there was someone tromping around out there and making us nervous, when we finally went to the door and looked out, there was a man who acted all embarassed.  He was wondering what those flowers were and he was going to steal one to take to his nursery to ask about it.

Christine, what a gorgeous photo - I know those aren't blooming anywhere in Indiana right now :) They grow in Orlando where we used to live, but up here is a little too cold.

Mike, I photographed these in sunny California on vacation.

THanks Gary!

Sharon, Yes, they are not in Indiana which made the opportunity to take a picture of them special for us.

Patricia, I wish they were my flowers.  I do have some equally lovely iris's that grow in the spring.

Sharon, I'm in Indiana so there won't be any outside flowers here either for the short term :)
