Pensacola Homes For Sale -- The Pace is Picking Up Steam
Rumors of the demise of the real estate market have been greatly exaggerated.
In my part of the world ... Paradise ... things seem to be picking up steam. Buyers appear and homes are selling, sometimes even with multiple offers. I'm hearing rumblings around my office about buyers losing out on homes that have been languishing on the market for months ... only suddenly to be the hottest property on the market.
Pensacola Homes For Sale -- The Pace is Picking Up Steam!
Historically, the real estate marketplace wakes up in February, pops in April, and is strong through October. Then, in conjunction with Autum, the market cools considerably and stays relatively quiet through the winter holidays ... then the cycle begins again.
So, don't believe everything you hear on the news. Sure, there are some properties where values have slipped dramatically -- and frankly it seems the house may not sell at any price. But if it were clean and in good repair -- aaahhhhhhhhhh, then you may have something -- a contract!
Buyers DO still believe that showing a filthy mess of a home for sale is despicable -- even if it is bank owned.    ----  Clean it and they will come.  Nonetheless, Pensacola Homes For Sale -- The Pace is Picking Up Steam!

Yes, CURB APPEAL is still important to get you the best value for your home.  Come on folks, at least sweep the house and cut the grass.

Hey Kevin!

I enjoyed reading your profile!   I am a native Floridian also. I admire that you are able to explore below the surface.  I was born with a natural aversion to going below or above --- so I am quite the landlubber.

I sailed for 20 years and lived aboard a 45-foot Morgan, but I am finished with that.   One of my nephews recently graduated from Florida Tech on your side of the state.

I don't know if you saw my post titled Real Florida,  but even though I lived in New Orleans for a few years my heart is sooooo stuck in the sandy road ruts of Old Florida.

I hope you have a really good 2012.     Thank you for the post!

"Clean it and they will come".    That is classic!

I am also a  Native Floridian...  7th generation on my Dad's side (Tallahassee), 3rd generation on my Mom's side (Sarasota County).

Hey Fred!

I sent you a message earlier today about your Google+ post.  Eye opening!

My father's whole family clan, 3 generations of them moved to Clearwater from  L.A.  (lower Alabama) about 1930.

I am 4th generation married to a New Orleanian.

Thank you so much for your Google+ post!

Have a good weekend and a great 2012.
