I've found it interesting that some agents here at AR place more importance on growing their point totals, than they do in growing their business. I see agents posting here on AR that have sold a scant few homes in their short careers, spouting off as if they're the best agent in the Western Hemisphere because they've collected lots of AR points.
Don't get me wrong... AR points are a good motivator for some, but even when you've reached the top of the AR point hierarchy and the buyer and seller calls start coming in... You still need to have some real world experience to close the deal.
Don't get too big for your britches... find a mentor to help you learn before you burn yourself out collecting points and collecting no pay check.
