Condominium Review:  Snowblaze Condominiums

Snowblaze Condos are located on the west side of Highway 40 as you enter the town of Winter Park.  It is a four-story high complex, located adjacent to Winter Park Station and Cooper Creek Square, the largest shopping area in town.  Additionally, it is located along the free resort shuttle route, which provides transportation to the Winter Park/Mary Jane ski area.

The Snowblaze building has been a part of Winter Park real estate since its construction in 1985.  Consisting of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom units between 450 and 1,400 square feet, there are options for almost every buyer.  Like Beaver Village Condos, these units were set up for a rental program initially, though it is not required and all the units are individually owned.

The prices on these units range from approximately $90K for a studio all the way up to almost $400K for a three-bedroom top-floor dwelling.  The studios in this complex are the cheapest way to get into the Winter Park real estate market.

Snowblaze also has a weight room, hot tubs, and indoor swimming pool, which are covered by the HOA.  The HOA fee ranges from $290 to $450 per month, depending on the square footage of your unit.   Another particularly nice amenity s the underground covered parking, which is also included with the unit.

Like Beaver Village Condos, these units are perfect for anyone that would require a strong rental income in order to make a second home purchase feasible.  However, anyone that would enjoy a location close to both the ski area and downtown Winter Park, will find these condos to be a good fit.  There aren't too many places in town that offer an indoor heated pool and covered parking, so if that's important to you, this is a great place to check out.
