When with a group of people, I tend not to bring up the subject of real estate. Usually someone there, if not many people, know that I sell real estate, and generally sooner rather than later, someone will ask me about real estate - what improvements should they do to their house, what's going on in the neighborhood, how's the market, what happened to the house down the street, etc.
At a recent neighborhood small gathering, one of my clients was asking about possible improvements, etc. Our discussion went on for quite a while, and one of the other neighbors said to me, You should be charging him for all that time and information. I replied that one of the benefits my clients receive, is lifelong access, answers and advice. It comes with working with the Simms Team.
