Backyard Barbeque - A great neighborhood bistro in the Williamsburg Civic Association

Yesterday was an incredibly beautiful day!  I was fortunate enough to go for a walk around dusk and took these shots of the Williamsburg Circle at sunset with this gorgeous pink sky.   I also stopped by Backyard Barbeque in the Williamsburg Shopping Center to get dinner after dealing with a sick kiddo for 2 straight days. This is a great restaurant, with a wonderful friendly atmosphere and the owners, who are neighbors too, are just delightful.

Backyard BarbequeI love supporting a local, neighbor-Williamsburg Shopping Centerowned business!  And their food is as delightful as the owners too.  Last night we got the beef brisket, salad, jalapeno cornbread, and I had to have some extra mango salsa.   I'd say they are most famous for their pulled pork.  But they also have a jerk chicken and delicious salmon too.   They began as a catering company and do still cater events as well.

If you are looking for a delicious take out or catering option that's locally owned an operated, give Backyard Barbeque a try.

Coral, That sky is gorgeous and just reading about the barbeque made me hungry.  I can just imagine having the pulled pork with jalapeno cornbread.

I know where I'll be stopping when I'm in the area.  Thanks for sharing a neighborhood secret.

Gary, it is good stuff!

Cindy, stop by for sure.  It's a great place, and there are a few seats too.

I did an inspection on the house just behind that bank.  It was sitting in a bowl below the street level and the bank!  Yep, basement moisture issues...
