Joan, this home was once a studio where monumental sculpture was created. It then was purchased and transformed into a livable sculpture. Unfortunately the owners who transformed the space were not able to keep the home. It is now bank owned and different that most bank owned homes.

Emily, any luxury home in foreclosure is probably unique in Santa Fe...You have just reminded me to get going on posts in this arena again! Buyers should seek you out for your knowledge in this area...
Somehow, "luxury" does not seem possible to be used in the same sentences as "foreclosure". In your market thse are high-end indeed. There is a buyer out there who is probably dancing the jig right now knowing he can get the home of his dreams for a lot less than what he would have paid for it a few years ago.
