Warren Buffet thinks so. In a recent article in the Omaha World Herald a reporter asked Warren's long time secretary Debbie Bosanek about her decision to purchase a second home in Surprise Arizona last year.

She explained that Warren had told her a combination of current home pricing and low interest rates made this the 'Best opportunity in my lifetime.'

It's certainly hard to argue with the most successful investor of our time. Let's hope more of our clients and customers are ready this year as well.

Bill - Warren Buffet knows a thing or two about timing the market, and if he's seeing strong buy signals in the housing market undoubtedly others will follow his advice--it's certainly the best time to buy in my opinion too.

Warren's secretary must be doing well if she can afford to buy a second home. This is an opportunity too for first-time homebuyers, affordable home prices and low interest rates.

If right now isn't the best time in history to buy a home, then I don't know when. It would help if consumer confidence and job security were better though.
