Re/Max Executive Realty Charitable Foundation Makes a Difference in a Young Girls Life.

Martin Luther King Day was going to be a day to sleep in and enjoy a well     deserved day off for 25 year old Allie Wheeler. She did not plan on waking up to the fire alarms in her apartment. When she opened the front door to black smoke she quickly picked up her phone to call her roomate, who was shocked that she was still in the building.  They thought that she had left for work. She was told that the front stair exit was filled with fire and she should try the back stairs. She was able to make it half way down the stairs and then passed out. Allie was fortunate that she called her roomate who told the firemen where she was. She was hepled out of the building and spent a few hours in the emergency room. She did not have any insurance and lost all her belongings.

RE/MAX Executive Realty Charitable Foundation was told of her situation and decided that they could help. A $500.00 Best Buy gift card was purchased for her. This will help with the purchase of a new computer, that she desperately needed for school. To say that she was appreciative is an understatement. Many of the Relators within RE/MAX Executive also searched their homes for items that may be of use to her.

The RE/MAX Executive Realty Charitable Foundation which was created just a few years ago has been busy in our local communities. Just in the last few months the foundation has provided a $500 gift card to a family and made a donation to a young woman who sadly lost her battle with cancer. Since its inception the Foundation has also provided rental assistance, a new roof for a family in need and helped to build a Habitat For Humanity House. Through requests from our agents or other individuals, the Foundations primary goal is to improve the lives of the families and individuals in the Foundation's general market area.

"Thank you so much for your help with the purchase of a new computer. As a college student, losing a laptop the I have used for 4+ years really affects my college life. I don't know what I would have done without the help"
