I am spending the week in beautiful Amelia Island Florida! I lived here for 26 years before moving to Williamsburg, Va. I have some wonderful friends and family here and feel so fortunate to be able to visit here as often as I do. I am staying with some friends who live in the lovely Carlton Dunes condominiums. This evening while we were having a light dinner at the Golf Club of Amelia Island, I ran into several old friends. There is an old saying that once you have been to Amelia Island you get sand in your shoes and you will always return!
