OK folks. For those of you who think the New York market is in a worlds of its own..... You are right. All of the media are now telling a different story about the NY market despite the "Credit Crunch". AM New York just reported last week that the NY market is still soaring, and it was on the cover of the paper. There has to be some truth to this story. Well the truth of the matter is that New York is home to one truly exceptional broker and that broker is Dolly Lenz. The Wall Street Journal has reported that Dolly Lenz is the #1 Broker in the USA, and I am also proud to report that she works for Prudential Douglas Elliman, and she is a colleague of mine. OK... Lets put her achievements in perspective. She was reported to have sold $748,319,000 in property. Yes that is a HUGE number but, what does that mean??? OK, Great. Well Put it this way, the second place person ONLY sold $181,882,138 In real estate. When I say "only" I do mean that jokingly ofcourse. Dolly sold over 4 times more than the second place broker!!!!!!! WOW.... I know what most of you are thinking right now and it is, "How much did she make?" Well, try to put her sales number in your calculator. Guess what, 748,319,000 does not even fit on my calculator and it probably does not fit on your either. In a nut shell, she took home a truck load of $$$. Do we owe the success of the New York Market to Dolly Lenz, well, maybe we do!!!! but in any case congrats to her and as a colleague of hers, I am proud to be working with her.
Last but not least, I would like to thank Linda Rubin who was ranked #17 on the list. She was the first broker that I ever did a deal with. I was an amazing experience and I owe much of my success today to her.
