Let’s Rodeo San Antonio from February 9th through February 26th.

Jerry, the Rodeo should be coming to the Q soon!  We have a huge arena where it is held indoors.  We have not been before but this year may just be the year to enjoy it!  Great Localism post my friend.  Enjoy this Monday afternoon to the fullest.

Hi Jerry, I didn't know San Antonio had a Livestock Show like Houston.  Our Livestock Show & Rodeo starts February 28th.  This is an annual event that I look forward to every year!

That sounds like a blast Jerry!  I like the cheep inexpensive seats.  Not because of the cost, just afraid to sit too close.  :)

Jerry- I love the rodeo!  Growing up in Houston I looked forward to the parade in downtown Houston and going to the rodeo every January or February.  Have fun!

Jerry... if i lived closer i would come! Believe it or not they do have a rodeo or two in my part of the country. Even though i'm only 60 miles north of NYC  we still have some things that would not be associated with NY. ALthough i have never been, we do have a rodeo. Next year when i pass the signs i'll think of you... Unless of course i'm in San Antonio and I get to see first hand what a Texas Rodeo is all about.

Jerry: I heard today the Trail Riders were passing through New Braunfels today headed for the Rodeo grounds. Our son's both showed animals when they were in AG, we spend many an hour in the steer and lamb barn. Sure hope they have Chamber of Commerce weather for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.

A very good localism blog for San Antonio.

Good Evening Jerry,

I have attended two rodeos in the past and both were fun. One in Albuquerque ad one in Las Cruces.  I think the Albuquerque one was a lot more fun, I saw Kelley Pickler in concert in that one.  It was awesome

Hi John, I haven't been to a rodeo myself in years. This might be a great time to get on back over there to enjoy all the entertainment, food, and live stock shows.

Jerry:

I love rodeos.  There are so many exciting things going on.  I actually came to congratulate you on hitting the 300,000 point mark.  I notice that you were at 300,000+ last week, but my computer was going crazy, so I didn't have a chance to acknowledge your milestone.  It is a nice milestone to reach in a short amount of time.

Hi Jerry - Rodeo is always fun. I like looking at livestock and watching things like milking shows. I just find it interesting since I'm a city girl, lol.

Thanks, Evelyn. Rodeos are Fun! I want to get out there this year to enjoy many of the events and a couple of concerts too. As far as that 300K Club, I didn't post or celebrate it like I did that first 100K, but I appreciate you recognizing my wonderful journey to reach this milestone. I just picked up another 2500 points from two more contests. I am still have points coming from the Market Report Contest, and that Jump Start Challenge too.

thanks Jennifer. Growing up in San Antonio as a youth, the rodeo was a regular event every year to attend. I remember seeing Roy Rogers and Dale Evans as a young teenager back in the 1960's. Of course, many may not remember Roy and his famous horse, "Trigger".
