It Started Out Like A Totally Normal Day.

In 2010 1.2 Million Poeple died from heart attacks.

515,000 were women who didn't recognize the symptoms.

Heart disease kills more women than any other disease!

While there is nothing funny about a heart attack, this video does a superb job of getting the message across and having the symptoms stick in your head. Men watch this and keep an eye on that special lady in your life.  Women, watch this and take head to these warning signs.  Don't brush these symptoms off as nothing!

When a woman has a heart attack the symptoms are much more subtle than when a man does.

Symptoms;

Pain in the neck, arms, jaw, back and/or stomach.

Shortness of breath.

Cold sweats.

Nausea and/or stomach ache.

Dizziness.

Tiredness.

Know the symptoms, recognize the symptoms and don't hesitate to call 911!

This was fantastic.  I posted it on my FB wall earlier because I thought, in its humor, that it was very powerful.  We never think that at that age it can happen to us.  And because she has such a stress free job, she should be okay, right ?  LOL ;) :) :)

We, women, definitely need to pay more attention to our health. We used to taking care of everyone around us, but don't pay attention to ourselves.

Laura:  What a totally wonderful video.  So incredibly well done.  I think part of being aware of these signs is seeing a video that is SO well done that I ended up watching it three times.  A simply excellent video.  I think I do a reblog of a post about once every six months or so.  This one definitely gets a re-blog.

Thanks so much.

Thanks Laura, for reminding women we can have a heart attack also. And the symtoms

are different than men. My doctor recommends a baby aspirin daily 81 milligrams. Check with your

doctor. I always carry aspirin with me , as they say if you suspect a heart attack, take an aspirin

to clear out the "clot". I am not a doctor , but this advice came from one. Check it out for

yourself.

Hi Laura.  My lovely wife is aware of her cholesterol numbers and is proactive.  Therapy is a slow process but it will get done.

Hello my friends,

I just wanted to tell you all thank you so much for all your comments.  I have read them all and greatly appreciate everything you have added to this post.

I posted this video for some simple reasons.

  • This video shares the SYMPTOMS in a way we really can't forget.
  • This video reminds us take the symptoms seriously.
  • And to make sure as many people as possible were able to see it!

To those of you who have already shared this through Reblogging and Facebook I cannot thank you enough.  I truly believe sharing information this important will save lives.

My sincere gratitude to all,

Thanks Kathy, it is such an important video to watch and share.  Far too many people die from Heart Attacks simply because they blow off the symptoms.
