yappy poodleThe citronella bark collar has saved my poodle from being poisoned by a neighbor while I'm at work!  I am so happy with this product, I can't even tell you.  She was/is a constant yapper and this just gives a spray when she barks... and she stops.  It's fantastic... and I no longer have to worry about poison hamburgers being thrown over the fence!  : )  (She can't be in the house without supervision due to behavior issues and I don't think it's fair to leave her in a crate all day).  So, just wanted to share that for other friends of yappy dogs.  Happy Holidays!  Chris

You could get her de-barked. Although it is contoversial. Some Vets will do it some won't and many time if you have the pet de-barked, the vocal cords heal back and they are able to start barking again.

Just a thought.

I've actually thought of that, even though I'm against it.  it's that frustrating to deal with a yappy dog!  But thankfully this collar works wonders.  I am very happy with it.

That's great...I will share this with some of my dogowner homeowners...I myself have cats...they don't make too much noise, just furballs.

Hi Chris,

I have to yappy toy Manchester terriers.  The female has an "ear piercing" bark and I have seriously thought of having her debarked.  Even called the breeder to discuss it with him.  He said they debark some of their dogs because they just will not stop barking.

I bought one of the spray collars but never used it because my dogs do not have any hair on their throats and it looks like it would hurt them.

The one thing about these barking dogs--people would be fools to try to break in the house--they really are as protective as they sound.

Yes, barking can be good too.  She just barks constantly out of boredom or what have you when I am at work, and I do have to work!  So this collar is great.

I also have two (enormous) cats and a rabbit... Definitely the cats are easier than the dog!

Thanks everyone!

It is a very good tool!  I'm certainly impressed.  Nothing else has worked for this little yapper.  I'm ordering citronella refills asap so I never run out!

I've never heard pf this, Chris, but what a good idea. Neighbors can be touchy about barking dogs.

I was so happy to discover this on the internet, I can't even tell you.  It has made such a big difference.  And the dog smells better!
