I am a supporter of the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
For the last two years I have cycled in the Philadelphia Livestrong Challenge. This year I pledged a donation from each real estate transaction and also formed Team RE/MAX. Our team of six collectively raised $3,335.00 and cycled a total of 435 miles on August 26th. The event had more than 3,500 participants and in total the entire event raised $2.5 million dollars. The coolest thing was that I passed Lance about 14 miles into the ride... of course he was headed in the opposite direction, so I guess it was more like a "pass by".
I intend to do it again in 2008, so if there is anyone out there interested in walking, running or riding in next years challenge please contact me. I'm open to suggestions for new team names :-)
