Do you have cracked or broken countertops and plan on selling your Vancouver house? It's best to get them fixed beforehand. The kitchen and bathroom both act as major selling features for your home and you should do everything possible to keep them looking great. You wouldn’t want to buy a new car if it had cracks and blemishes would you?

How visible is the problem?

If your countertop is obviously damaged you're going to have to repair or replace it. If, however, you have a hard time seeing the problem, you really don't need to worry about it. Everything doesn't have to be absolutely perfect before selling your Vancouver house, it is just the major things that stick out that will need to be handled.

Can they be repaired?

It depends on the damage. In many cases small cracks and chips can be fixed professionally without repairing the whole countertop. Before selling your Vancouver house, look for a countertop repair professional and ask for a consultation. If it can be repaired, you'll save a ton of money. Countertops aren't cheap and nowadays there are ways to fix small problems on them without having to replace the whole piece.

You definitely need to fix your countertops before selling your house if the problem is obvious. This is in fact one of the most important things you can do to improve the looks of the bathroom and kitchen. Just consider how much money you'll save if by repairing these countertops it leads to a quick sale?
