Our friends at Ticor Title sent me the following stats/charts to share with our readers.  Much data is contained within these but the sheer magnitude of the changes observed over the previous two and one-half years is worth a look.  I feel the most telling is the latest Notices of Default (NOD) numbers (first chart presented below).  Look at the increase in NOD from around the time median home prices peaked (July 2005) to now.  A six-fold increase!  See all the charts here.
