Pre-Approved? Out Looking In For Homes? If You Like It Don't Hesitate To Make An Offer!

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Executives

So you have sat down with your realtor, he has sent you to his lender, your pre approved and have found that perfect home. You leave the property smiling at the thought of you moving your belongings into your new home. Your now thinking "man I really like that house, but what if there are others I will take a little bit of time to make a decision."

When you do decide you want to go with that house 2 to 3 days later your agent contacts the listing agent and they now have 2 offers on the table or even worst they have already went with another offer! So your back on the hunt but it's not really the same because you still have that first home on your mind and in some cases you find something better but when you don't the only thing you think is "man I shouldn't have hesitated on that opportunity."

When potential home buyers find a home they really like some may feel their realtor is pushing them to make an offer for a quick sale. I'm not saying that doesn't happen, but a lot of them are pushing because we have been down that road were their clients are in love with a home but want to take a couple of days and you end up missing out on that home.

Don't let the fear of not getting what you haven't seen stop you from obtaining what you know you like......

More opinions than you want to hear about.

There is only one best listing, and if you've found it, so have lots of other house hunters.  You are not the only buyer who has access to the internet, and home buying is not a spectator sport -- unless you fail to pull the trigger as soon as you see the target.

Jan thanks, E.J. I tell clients if you think this home is nice other people are thinking the same thing and they plan to take action.
