Father Daughter Dance The 5th Annual Father Daughter Dance   6:30pm to 9pm.  Nixa Community Center at  701 North Taylor Way.  Couples will receive a complimentary 4 x 6 photo, and a meal will be served before dancing.   Door price is  $48 and $57.   Call  725-5486 for more informationSenior Dance.

 Getting Ready for Valentines Day Live Band Dance at 7pm, Nixa Senior Center 404 South Main St. Admission is $3.  725-2322.

  Daddy Daughter Valentine's Dance 7­-9pm, at the OC at 1530 West Jackson St.    Enjoy an evening of dancing, refreshments, valentine activities and party favors.  Ages 3 and older. Cost is $20 for OC members, $30 for non-members.   Registration is required.  Call for more information at 581-7002.   

 Senior Health University Health Literacy Workshop 12:30-1:30pm Ozarks Senior Center 727 N. 9th St.   Free health fair, information, materials for all participants as well as a free meal ticket redeemable at the local Senior Center.  Free 836-6953

Lander's Theatre "Annie" presented by the Springfield Little Theatre at the Landers Theatre.   311 East Walnut St.   Performances at 7:30 PM Feb. 10th-11th, and 2:30pm February 12th.    Tickets $25 $22 for ages 62 and older, students, and military.   $15 for ages 14 and younger.    869-1334.    

 16th Annual Branson/Tri-Lakes Building and Home Show 2 to 8pm  February 10, 9am-5pm February 11, and  11 to 5 February 12 at the Château on the Lake Resort Spa and Convention Center located at 415 N. Missouri 265.   Admission $3 for one day and free for ages 16 and younger.  Three day pass is $3, and ages 16 and younger are FREE    334-1200. 

Un-Valentine  Day After Hours 6 -8pm at Republic Branch Library at 921 N Windsor St. Watch the latest version of Alice in Wonderland, rated PG.   Dress up as your favorite character; enjoy snacks, and Un-Valentine's Day activities.   FREE!   Ages 6 – 12   732-7284

The Big Mouth Frog Puppet Show 4-5pm and 7-8pm at Springfield Conservation Nature Center at 4601 S. Nature Way.   Hop-A-Long, the big mouth frog returns to teach about the kinds of food that wild animals eat.   All ages, FREE, registration required 888-4237

Father Daughter Dance Second Annual Daddy Daughter Dance presented by Springfield Ballet and Operation US. 6:30 to 8:30 pm Creamery Art Center at 411 N. Sherman Ave.   Light sweets and treats will be provided; a professional ballroom dancer and his partner will give basic instructions, as well as some demonstrations.  Dads and daughters will have time to dance, meet other couples and spend time together taking photos and playing games.   Tickets $20 per couple +5 dollars for each additional daughter.    Reservations 862-1343  or email ckissee@springfieldballet.org
