Endurance and durability are two qualities that a person must have when they decide to enter the Real Estate profession. New associates have to learn the ropes by themselves and it takes time to accomplish and fine-tune your goals in order to get rolling. In the beginning, I saw many who joined at the height of the boom in Real Estate and become dismayed when the market showed signs of slacking and they were being called upon to be more creative to attract business. Veterans in the profession are those who would not settle for less than setting their goals and going after them in spite of many difficulties and sometimes financial setbacks. It's an established fact that sales is one of the toughest ways to earn money, but when you are focused and determined to get the job done, it can be financially rewarding.
A new member to the Real Estate profession can be daunted by all they must learn before a license can be awarded to them and that is only the beginning. All must keep on with continuing education not too mention the change of rules that come down from the Real Estate Association. If that isn't enough, there are forms to keep straight, laws that must be obeyed and the pressure that can be felt when those around you are making the grade and you're still struggling.
After attaching yourself to an agency, you need to wait for calls and get your own marketing campaign going. It is at this level that you either take off or you fall behind. However, when something comes easy, it doesn't last long so it is better to take the hard knocks at the beginning and learn your craft well. Becoming a good professional does not happen overnight and if you love what you're doing then nothing will stand in your way. If endurance and durability accompany you in this line of work, you will eventually realize your cherished goals.
