Turkey Day/Black Friday...

Today is a day for being thankful for our families, and enjoying all the good food, watching football games, and becoming real tired from all the running around we do.

I will need to get  of rest tonight for tomorrow on Black Friday. I am not really going to buy anything in particular I just like going. It is a tradition for me to go every year. My kids are older now so I don't have to try and fight the crowd for the toys.

My husband thinks I am crazy, but I think he is crazy getting up at 3:30 a.m. to go sit in a tree stand to hunt deer. I guess it is a addiction for me.

Does anybody else enjoy going on Black Friday?

 We Have So Much To Be Thankful For...

Take time today and give thanks for our friends, family, loved ones and the young men and women overseas who cannot be with us today on this national holiday.

There is not a bargain out there that would entice me to join all the bedlum that comes with Black Friday.  Every year at our Walmart there is a fight between someone over a bargain that involves the police.

I Love Black Friday! Its the best day ever is what we say. We wake up at 4 AM, my group of lady friends jump in the car and go get coffee and then rush off to the stores. We have our entired day and time frame mapped out. Sale papers in hand and all. We take turns getting in line and waiting, while one shops one waits in line, then we swap. By the time we are finished its time to check out. People who can't handle the crowds should not be allowed out of the house. You have to take this day for what it is and go out with a fun positive attitude. We usually have our shopping completed by 9AM and we end the shopping adventure with a trip to I-Hop for pancakes and more coffee. Its so fun!
