Active Rain - The Rain Maker - Really Makes It Rain!!

By
Education & Training with Retired Executive Director of Education at eXp Non-Licensed

What an incredible year it has been.   When I started on Active Rain earlier this year, I had no idea what an exciting adventure this would turn into, and the impact it would have on my Blogging experience.  I have spent so many early and late night hours learning all about Blogging, the People, and the Power of Active Rain.  There is so much to learn here, and so many willing people that will share.  Most of all, I have learned about "paying it forward" by "giving it back."

I have met some of the most wonderful people on the planet here, and have shared memories, laughter, tears, and very special times with many of you.  Most of my posts here, were inspired and motivated by all of YOU.  In looking back at the year, I now realize the importance of my time here, and the significance this place has had for me personally and professionally.  I used to think, "Where will it all eventually lead?"  I'm here to tell ya, just follow the Yellow Brick Road!  Here's what my experience at Active Rain has helped me develop this past year!  These sites were inspired by my personal passions and hobbies, my industry and business experiences, and most IMPORTANTLY,  YOU!   So who do I have to blame for all this?  Hmmm....

This is all Active Rains fault! LOL!  Am I complaining?
No Way!  It has taken me most of this year to create, compile, design, develop, manage, and maintain these Sites and Blogs!  I am forever grateful for all I have learned here, for those who I've met, and for the friendships and relationships that I've developed this past year.

I am looking forward to growing even more next year.  I am excited about supporting my clients, other members, and making new clients and friends here too.  I want to thank each of you for your support this past year, and for your continued support in the years ahead.  Active Rain and the members here are very special, and they will always have a place in my heart.

This is my Thanksforgiving Post!  November 23rd, 2007  Now you can also check me out and join me at RealEstate411.

Kim - it's really not that big a deal!!  Once you learn how to create a Blog, it can be done in literally minutes.  It takes a little more time to customize them with graphics, links, and content, but that's what makes them unique.  Some of the networks like MySpace, MyBlogLog, LinkedIn, Trulia, FaceBook and others are just a matter of joining.  Their pages are already set-up for you.  I learned about all those Social Networking sites here on Active Rain.  I never knew these places existed before I started here.  Glad I could share them with others like they were shared with me.

Thanks for your compliment Kim, and yes, it is starting to pay off.  As you may have seen, I have two sites above, one called "Agent Assist" and the other "The Blog Builder" which both are really starting to take off right now.  "TechKnowBabble" also generates a lot of leads for me, and "Active Rain" gets me referrals to give to my clients both locally and across the states!  Have a great weekend, and I think you're awesome too!!  :-)

Tom - thanks my friend, I look forward to meeting you soon as well.  I wish there were a way for us to have a National Active Rain Conference like NAR does every year!  Maybe one day we can make it happen!  Have a nice Weekend Tom, and enjoy the Holiday Season!  :-)

Brad - Wow--all I can say is amazing. I had no idea how involved you were with blogging and this post certainly shows you have done your homework, worked hard. This is amazing to me that you can find the time, impressive. Another thing I've learned today is that I had no idea you were a talented musician. Impressive. You are a very talented man. Outstanding blogs and work you have done in 2007!!  I hope you have enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday and holiday weekend.

To the Unknown commenter - thank you for commenting and for your very kind compliment.  It has been hard work this year, but worth every bit of time and effort invested.  I wish you all the best in 2008, as I do ALL members of Active Rain and their associates!  I enjoyed my Thanksgiving Holiday and hope that you did as well.

Bill - glad you made it back safe from your vacation.  There's really not much to managing these sites.  There are only 4 that require my attention on a weekly basis.  Having this many outlets allows me to release my creativity with no limitations.  Each day brings new ideas and new things to share.  Just depends on what's going on in my life at the time.  Now that they're built, I get to just create and grow from here.  I doubt that I'll need or be creating any others except for those I am helping others with.  Thanks for checking them out and for your continued support and friendship.  It will be nice when we get to meet in person someday!  :-)
