The Carefree Desert Garden, a 4 acre garden located on Easy Street in Carefree, AZ, is a great place to view our local desert plants.

Strolling around the Carefree Desert Garden, you'll see a rare Boojum Tree among many of the native plants as the garden weaves it way around the Carefree Sundial, the Carefree Amphitheater, great art and sculptures, a waterfall, and a giant gila monster slide.

After touring the Carefree Desert Garden for FREE, visit any of the great shops along Ho and Hum streets and stop in for refreshments at any of the wonderful restaurants. I love the English Rose Tea Room (reservations recommended 480-488-4812) and the Sundial Cafe for breakfast or lunch. Carefree Station often has night time entertainment on the rooftop allowing you to enjoy our balmy evenings.

There's so much to do in the heart of Carefree - it's a great place to spend the day and enjoy our perfect weather.

Located just minutes north of the loop 101, take Scottsdale Rd north. Drive past the world renown Boulder resort until you see the signs for Carefree shops and dining on your right.

Thank you, Josh, Fortunately, there are so many great places and fun things to do in my area, it makes it easy to write about. Oh, and the weather - enough said, LOL.

Tim, I wasn't sure which one it was and will need to spend more time seeing if they've named them. There was this really gnarly looking thing - very interesting. The next time I go there, I'll check it out.

Now, Kathy - it's the corner of Ho and Hum, which runs right next to Easy Street. There's also Tranquil Lane, Serene Drive, Languid, Nevermind, Whileaway and Placid among some of the wonderful street names in Carefree, AZ - they sure knew how to name them in the fun city of Carefree, AZ, LOL.

Sharon - have you ever gone to the art and wine festivals? The Chamber sells tshirts and sweatshirts with the intersection of HO and HUM street signs - great for the out of town visitors.

Yep, our office is on Easy Street in the Carefree shopping area. Good memory mom. Or were you looking at one of my new business cards?
