First Blog

Real Estate Agent with Century21 M&M and Associates

This is my first blog.  Yeah I joined the ranks of the Internet community of bloggers. :)

Now that is over with what do I write?

I decided to join ActiveRain because of a referral that I got from the NAR Expo in Las Vegas. Since I want to do something a little different and be on the cutting edge.  This blogging might be something I can get used too.

A little about me; I'm a brand new agent.  Received my License about 5 months ago.  I haven't had any sales as of yet but I'm sure that it will happen in good time.  I'm currently in transition.  Which means I have a full time job doing something else and work Real Estate Part time.

So you're new.  What makes you different from every other agent?

With as many different agents as there are I'm not sure that I can claim to be unique except that I'm the only one of me there is. :)  However, I believe that being new gives me a unique perspective in this business. I'm fresh which means that I don't know the history and length of cycles of this business. This part of the cycle is where I'm learning and asking questions. If I don't know I'll ask how to do something.  Also this business is one where everyone involved are expected to continue to learn.

I've rambled on enough for for my first post.  Have a Merry Christmas. :)

Since you're new, you may have yourself some horror stories to write about soon enough! LOL, just kidding, sorry...

Anyway, welcome to blogging.  I just started a few weeks ago and find it to be very enjoyable.  I've started blogs a couple times before, but now I feel like I have almost an endless stream of material to write about.

Sometimes the best blogs are written about 5 minutes after something wonderful, weird or annoying happens; that way you are still experiencing those emotions, and writing sometimes seems to flow easily from that.  You are right about the 'unique' part, and that is indeed what makes blogs interesting; cut and paste graphs and stats do not.

Best wishes and Happy Holidays!
