HUD and FHA have teamed up and announced new sales incentives on HUD Home Sales in Ohio (for owner-occupants). They are offering $100 down payments plus a $2500 allowance for buyers to use at closing for closing costs, repairs or to lower their mortgage amount. Also realtors get a $500 bonus for every HUD Home purchased with FHA financing. If you sell a HUD home and your client does not use FHA financing, they still qualify for $1,000 assistance in closing costs and the buyer broker bonus is $250.
