Going Back in Time to Be a Part of Hockey History! The Story of the China Clipper - Larry Kwong.
Today I went back in history to 1948 as an extra in the documentary of Larry 'King' Kwong, aka the China Clipper.
Larry Kwong was the first Asian to to play in professional hockey for the New York Rangers.
His first game with the Rangers was against the Montreal Canadiens and he was allowed only 1 minute of ice time.
Read more about this amazing Hockey Legend who, like Jackie Robinson, broke the race barrier to play professional sports!
When the documentary comes out, I will be in the crowd, cheering on the Canadiens, over Larry's left shoulder!
