One of my Associates, Sandy Shealy, that joined Active Rain a few months ago called the other day. 
"I don't know if I should go with the Blackberry Pearl or the Treo or the Voyager (new Verizon phone)" she said.
"You need to research the features that you need and use, then go try them out at the store" I replied.
"I was up until 3:00am doing that, I read all of the Active Rain posts about them - they seem to like the Blackberry Pearl"
I thought that was great - she isn't active on AR yet, she is a very talented writer, so I hope she'll join the blog forces soon.... but.... she appreciates the valuable information here - and came to Active Rain to learn about cell phones.
