Real Estate news Katy, west Houston Texas: Life is good pumpkin festival

Real Estate Agent with Liz Carter & Team Realty-Your Real Estate Resource For Life!

We all do good deeds, and hopefully provide great service to our clients who need to buy or sell a home too.  For me most of my business is helping families buy and sell a home in the Katy, Sugar Land, and west side of Houston areas.  When you take the time away from your real estate business, not to mention your family, and time off to volunteer don't forget to take advantage of letting the rest of the world know.  Free press is great for your business, it lets everyone know you do more than sell homes, keeps your name in front of people, let's them know more about you personally and hopefully makes a new contact on mutual interest, and it's free.  We all spend a ton of money to run our companies, or promote ourselves, so don't forget to send in those press releases to the local papers.  They are always looking for good news about local events.  Try to always include a picture too.  I keep my press release e-mails in my computer under a group e-mail address type, so I can send it to all the papers with one click of my mouse, saves time. My press releases, and news articles are written in Word, so they have been spell checked and can be easily added to the e-mail, Keep updating your list, as different magazines, and papers change who is in charge of picking which of the many items they receive gets put in the paper.  Make you articles interesting, get them out in a timely basis, and always include a great picture.  They may or may not run the article, or have room that week or month for the picture, but keep sending them.  Some will make it, and some will not, but again it takes very little time once set up, and its free.  if anyone has some great ideals to share on how they get more of their information into the papers, and magazines, please share.  This is an event that is held each year in Cinco Ranch, a master planned community of beautiful homes in Katy Texas.  The HOAhosts an annual fall festival that is attended by hundreds of people each year.  This year Newland Communities combined their Pumpkin Festival with the event. It seemed like a 1,000+ people attended this year.  I always sponsor the Cinco Links, which is a 3-7 greens of putt-putt golf.  The kids love it, and the parents too.  We give out goodie bags filled with candy, small gifts, and my signature million dollar bill business cards. When a child makes a hole in one, they also get an extra surprise.  It's fun and a great way to give back to the community.  I not only sell homes in Cinco Ranch but have also have lived in the community since 1992.  If you would like more information about this great area, please contact me at http://www.lizcarter.com/, or call 281-391-SOLD (7653).  Homes range in value from mid 150's-2 Million+.

at the 2007 Pumpkin Festival help in Cinco Ranch.  This event help on October 20th, 2007 was sponsored by the developer Newland Communities, along with the help of many other donors and volunteers.  It was a picture perfect day, with bright clear blue Texas skies, warm temperature, low humidity, slight breezes...a beautiful Texas day! It also produced a record number of residents who came out to enjoy all the festivities.  There were bands, BBQ, pumpkin patch complete with a pumpkin decoration table, pony rides, a long horn streer for photo opportunities, a petting zoo, face painting, and games galore, plus much more.  "Raising funds for those in need", proceeds benefited HomeAid and The Brookwood Community.
The event was titled:
 Life is good, pumpkin festival.
