Dr. Seuss Celebration in Katy Texas

Do you like Dr. Seuss stories for children? I know I do and so do many other adults out there who have all read these stories to their children. Katy Mills Mall is hosting a Dr. Seuss 75 Years of Imagination event on Saturday February 18, 2012 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. The event will be held close to the AMC theatres. The whole family is invited to be part of the fun and all things Dr. Seuss related. The Mall is located at 5000 Katy Mills Circle in Katy Texas.

The activities include Cat in the Hat Costume character; Cat in the hat Parade; Decorate your parade; Dr. Seuss activity booklets; View “Cat in the Hat Knows a lot About That’ movie; Bookmark coloring activities; Book Readings; Goody bags ( while supplies last), prizes and several other neat things to do. Cat in the Hat is still one of my personal favorite stories.

The Dr. Seuss day will end with a parade that ends at Books-A-Million. The 75 th edition of “And to Think That I saw it on Mulberry Street” will be available for sale.

If you have children who like to read and/or love Dr. Seuss this is the event you should plan to attend. Children will have a ball celebrating 75 years of Dr. Seuss

I've always been a fan of Dr. Seuss and like the movies/cartoons that have come out over the years. The newest movie looks like fun. The good Dr. had a lot of good lessons in those fun stories so enjoy the event. I know I would.
