So on to the Whispers, the latest neighborhood to make it to our web site and truly one of my very favorite Pensacola addresses. So much so that I helped one of my very best friends secure a home in this neighborhood not long ago!

Here’s the thing about the Whispers; if you aren’t looking for this Pensacola area neighborhood you most likely won’t find it, despite the fact that it sits smack in the middle of one of Pensacola’s major shopping areas, less than a mile from Sacred Heart Hospital and the Pensacola Gulf Coast Regional airport. The Whispers neighborhood is a pocket neighborhood in the truest sense of the word. Nestled in an area just off of 12th Avenue and Bayou Boulevard, the Whispers is tucked away from all the nearby hustle and bustle.

The neatly manicured lawns and stunning brick and stucco homes in the Whispers neighborhood make you feel right at home. The Whispers is Florida living at it’s very best, with winding streets for privacy and small lots for ease of maintenance.

The Whispers is surprisingly quiet for a neighborhood that is truly in the middle of everything. Within minutes you can be in downtown Pensacola, at the University of West Florida or on the beautiful Gulf Coast beaches. Popular with physicians who need to be close to Sacred Heart or West Florida Hospitals and airline pilots who like the ease of a five minute commute to the airport, the Whispers is an in-demand neighborhood.

Home prices in the Whispers start at $300,000 and the higher priced homes in the neighborhoods come close to $1m. Quality construction is a hallmark of the Whispers.
