Greater Springfield Farmers Market 8:30 am to 1pm, alternating Saturdays at the Battlefield Mall, 2825 North Glenstone Ave. The winter market offers naturally fed pork, beef, bison, and chicken. Honey roasted granola, premium roasted coffee, dairy products, mushrooms, preserves, baked goods, handmade jewelry, and wood products.
Project Linus Springfield/Branson, 9am-noon, Ozarks Food Harvest Community Room, 2810 N. Cedarbrook. Be a part of the National Make a Blanket Day. Participants are asked to bring a piece of child friendly fleece, 1.5 yards by width of fabric to make and donate. Project Linus makes and donates new, handmade blankets to children who are il, traumatized, in distress or victims of natural disasters.
