The University of Arkansas recently announced its ranking in Kiplinger’s Personal Finance 2012 report of “100 Best Values in Public Colleges.” Not only is U of A the only school in Arkansas mentioned in the list, it managed to move its position upward.
University of Arkansas is now ranked 53rd in the nation for in-state students and 56th for out of state students, an improvement over the rankings of 57 and 58 respectively in 2011 list.
Kiplinger rankings were based on a survey of 500 public universities across the country. Several academic measurements were considered – student SAT or ACT scores, admission and retention rates, student-faculty ratios, and 4- and 6-year graduation rates. Financial aspects such as cost, availability of financial aid, and student debt after graduation were also included.
Once again, this is proof of the outstanding job University of Arkansas performs day after day, year after year.
The University adds immensely to the economic, educational and overall quality of life in NW Arkansas.
