WE have a lot to offer in Minnesota besides lakes and Mosquito's.

Depending on the area you visit, you may see many different slogans that pertain our our great state.    So Here Goes...

MINNESOTA STATE SLOGANS

I came, I thawed, I transferred.
Survive Minnesota and the rest of the world is easy.
Save a Minnesotan, Eat a Mosquito.
Where the Elite meet Sleet.
Land of two seasons...Winter is coming and Winter is here!
Minnesota...Come fall in Love with a Loon.
Land of many cultures...mostly throat.
Land of the Ski, home of the Crazed.
Land of 10,000 Johnson's.
Minnesota, Land of Blonde hair and Blue ears.
Minnesota, where visitors turn Blue with Envy.
and my favorite...

There are only 3 things that you can grown in Minnesota...Colder, Older, and Fatter!

Now you can pick your favorite slogan and there is no reason not to visit us!

This is just a normal winter day here in Minnesota.  It is just that this year is not normal.

Come see us anyway!

Like Minnesota, we have a lot of slogans in Texas.  My favorite is "Don't Mess with Texas".  Started as a campaign to reduce littering on Texas roadways.

We also have a lot of slogans here in WV....too many! The photos reminds me of our 2009 winter with over 2 feet of snow. This winter has just been so awesome with less than 3 inches of snow...but winter is still not over so we may get a bad snowfall yet.

William,  My favorite - Land of many cultures...mostly throat.  It took me a few seconds to "get it" and that's what made me laugh. And I am not blonde ... although a bottle of solution and $80 could change that!

Bringing you home...

Hmmm. I haven't heard most of those but most of them fit rather nicely. Speaking of throat cultures......

Bill, I have a great friend that's worked in Minnesota for years; he and his family love it there.  He speaks of so highly, I've added to my bucket list of places to visit.

Most slogans are fun and are ment to catch your attention.  Many  have a humorous ring to them and they seam to be the ones we remember.

I don't care for the picture from last year.  I like this year much better.

There are a lot of slogans.  Even many towns have them here.

Bill, you know that New Hampshire has a lot in common with Minnesota...as I work in the ski industry - we talk about our seasons as "Ski Season - Mud Season - bug season and hunting season"

I like the one about the mosquito.  Here in NJ, we claim the mosquito as our state bird!
