Monday February 20th, 2012 is family day in Ontario, and a full day of activity is being scheduled in Tottenham.

The Tottenham Community and Fitness Centre will open indoor ice from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
There will be a "Just for Fun" Hockey Tournament on the Outdoor Rink. Two age groups, seven to nine years old and ten to thirteen years old. Cost is $40. and players are guaranteed 3 games. Puck drops at 8:00 a.m. Full equipment is required. To register early, call 905.936.4203
A "tot lot" will be open at Tottenham Recreation Centre's Gymnasium from 9:00 a.m. until noon.
There will also be:
A Playball demonstration at 10:00 a.m.
A Monkeynastix demonstration at 11:00 a.m.
and Badminton and Pickle Ball from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
A full schedule of shinny times for each age group at each of the facilities is available online.
The cost for events at New Tecumseth's Recreation facilities is $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children aged four to seventeen.
Don't forget about Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and dinner from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mike's Family Restaurant. All proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society
