The Grove Park "Luxury" Neighborhood in Asheville, NC, named for developer Edwin W. Grove, curves into the foot of Sunset Mountain. The Grove Park Historic District is a shining and also lovely example of sustainable neighborhoods. It is over 100 years old. It is graced by theGrove Park Inn, built of massive boulders reinforced by concrete and capped with a burnt-orange tiled roof.
According to the National Register of Historic Places Travel Itinerary , “Grove purchased the surrounding area and sold it off for more residential development creating a stock of remarkable and fanciful dwellings, while the roads approaching Grove Park became the setting for a number of significant buildings.”
This is an Asheville Luxury Livability Neighborhood I am proud to share with my clients. For more information on Asheville’s Grove Park Neighborhood.
