New listings were OK, but home sales in Tooele County, (actually, Tooele City, Stansbury Park, Grantsville & Erda) were not much to brag about last week. If we can brag about anything, it's that some houses for sale long enough to grow moss were put "under contract" and hopefully will close w/in the next 60 days.
Since not much happened during the week of 11/18 thru 11/25/07, I'll keep this real short.
Homes Listed This Week: 18
The majority of homes listed last week, (67%) were over $200 thousand dollars. One home listed
for over $ 800 thousand dollars.
Homes Closed This Week: 2
Both houses that closed this week were under$200 thousand dollars.
Contracts on houses: 7
Five of the seven Tooele houses were priced under$200 thousand. They averaged 76 days on market.
Expired Houses Listed: 11
Of the 11 expired homes, 8 were over $200 thousand. Ave. Mkt. time was 114 days.
Houses Withdrawn: 1
This home was in Stansbury Park and had only been for sale for 44 days.
Dont forget that these stats do not include new construction (new homes) and represent only the areas of Tooele City, Stansbury Park, Grantsville, & Erda.
