Lake Central Rail Tours and the Howell Area Historical Society present the Santa Express, a 90-minute train experience from the Historic Train Depot in downtown Howell to the "North Pole" (Byron). Passengers will enjoy Christmas songs and refreshments on their journey, as well as enjoy a visit with Santa.
The Santa Express will run the first four weekends in December. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors & children 12 and under. (Children 2 and under not occupying a seat are free.) Santa Express Trains depart at 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm and 5 pm each day. Due to the historic nature of the equipment, the train is not handicap accessible.
