Cal: Some of my favorite library visits when my own children were toddlers were Story Time. It introduced them to the magic of books and all the wonders that the library held in store. In the age of the internet, libraries are still magical places and librarians are still the wizards who hold the keys to a world of knowledge. Great post!

All of us need to support our local library systems.  Many communities have cut back on funding and that has negatively impacted services for many.

Anne, that is really cool to hear. We did not take our kids to story hours, but they do look really fun.

Roy, I hear you. It is unfortunate more folks do not see the value of these. I just heard a report on tv this morning about how digital books are in great demand and it actually could ease some of the overhead libraries may experience. Being able to check out books to your electronic devise when going on vacation is so convenient.

Debra,That is great to hear. What have you been reading lately.

Steve, your words are so kind and I do appreciate it.

Todd, your niece will cherish those memories with her grandparents forever.
