It's all about timing, isn't it? Home prices have been dropping, and I've got buyers who are buying... but here's the latest news I found on MSNBC:
"The final housing numbers for 2006 are in, and they confirm what anyone who bought or sold a home last year has suspected: It was the worst housing slump in nearly two decades."
Could I have become a realtor when people were buying homes before they actually got on the market? About five years ago, in Yardley, buyers were knocking on doors to ask folks if they would consider selling their home! Am I a realtor then? Heck no! Now, when the realtors who WERE around five years ago are struggling to adjust to the current mood, here I am! And actually, I can't complain. I'm established. I'm busy. I've got buyers actively looking and actively buying! Of course, I am putting in the hours, answering phones, searching for leads. But it is paying off. And, of course, I listen to my clients, and find them exactly what they're looking for, so I have happy buyers. No sellers currently, but that will change soon. I have a few folks who may decide to go ahead. I am ever optimistic!
