Pointe2 Agent Site

By
Real Estate Agent with Downing-Frye Realty, Bonita Springs, FL 676419

I am locked out of my point2 site, can't log in, can't get a new password emailed, they have no number to call and I've sent dozens of email and password change requests and received nothing back. Nothing is in my spam filter, I haven't gotten squat.

Does anyone with a point2 site have the ability to:

1.  Log in

2. Have access to a phone number in their admin section so I can get this fixed.

I am now highly aggrevated by "test driving" this site and I'm ready to scrap the whole thing.

Maybe Point2, Point 2, Point two, point2agent reads feeds and will respond.

Cheryl, I'll update you to let you know if this gets resolved.   It just seems that if you're "test driving" a site they would want to help so you'll convert to paying. I'm not asking for a tutorial, just to be able to log in.  I've got the rest under control

The message boards aren't just for tutorials, they are also for questions and/or problems you are having.

Thought maybe you'd get a quicker response from a moderator there rather then your email lost in a sea of other emails until they get to it.  You might have a better chance at getting a quicker response from the message boards then an email sent to them since they monitor the message boards.

Becky, you have to be logged in to use that feature.  Anyone care to request help for me on a message board?

I just did the sign up thing...  What's with the needing credit card to "confirm membership"?

Confirm Membership
  • Please help us to confirm your membership by providing a credit card number. This is for verification purposes only - your card will not be charged.
  • One of the key strengths of Point2 NLS is that it is a service for the use of real estate professionals only. Point2 takes the integrity of its membership and the security of Point2 NLS data very seriously, and to that end, we must verify each member before granting access to the NLS system.

Chris - I've directly emailed some folks at Point2 that can help you.

The credit card is asked for to keep people (spammer type people) from getting multiple sites and spamming the people. They won't bill you for anything.

Chris,

I have the same problem with my site. Spent the whole day yesterday for squat. I was looking over the site more thourghly to see if I wanted to upgrade to the Pay portion or not. My Alamode site is at renenewal now. After yesterday I have decided to Pay the renewal with alamode. Perhaps I will revisit the Point 2 site later next spring. And then again maybe not.

Thanx Fran LOL!

Herb someone called me a little bit ago, gave me a temp password and I just logged in.  I wonder if it's a universal issue and not just me.  The support person with whom I spoke also said they would email me the password and contact number, but it never came through either.  I have never gotten an email from support or password reset, through outlook or webmail.

Great response, Rich! There's nothing more frustrating than not being able to reach anyone to report a problem!

I hope it turns out OK for you - I have had two of their sites for about 3 years now and am very pleased.  One is free and the other is upgraded and I love them both - even though I have neglected them this past year, thanks to the Rain.

Is it possible you may have had an extended period of non-activity on your site.  I know if you don't go into the back end every now and then, they send an email telling me the site will be taken down.

Now Have a Blessed Day,
