Staying in contact

By
Real Estate Agent with Hometown Realty

One of the key elements to being a successful Realtor is staying in contact with you past and current clients. Staying in contact after the transaction is one of the most important things that you can do to get referrals and generate more business. How do you stay in contact with everyone if you have hundreds of clients? It can be very difficult. Outlook has been my biggest friend in staying in touch with everyone. I can download names and numbers to my cell phone and that allows me to take my business where ever I go. However, it can get annoying on vacations. So my fiance says so.:)

Oh by the way, I am never too busy for any of your referrals.

Shawn,  My goal is to improve in this area.  I use the contact management with Point2 ( email me if you want additional info ) .  It is excellent !    Just used it to promote some listings and had an excellent response including a great new listing !

I use TP 6.0i, a newsletter, a email DRIP and some other stuff.  Probably over kill but no one ever complains about not being able to find me.

Top Producer and Outlook help me stay on top of sending hand-signed birthday cards to all of my past clients.  Also a monthly mailing, periodic emails, and phone calls.

Contact after the transaction is the key to success. That's why the wife and you get to go on those vacations.  :-)
