My Buyer Said "I Didn't Know This Road Went To A Neighborhood"

By
Real Estate Agent with Integrity Real Estate Group

Coventry Glen in Woodbridge VAMy buyers thought I'd made a wrong turn when we headed down an unmarked two lane road in Woodbridge, VA.  But I hadn't.  We were headed to look at a listing in the Coventry Glen community just off of Greatbridge Road.  At first you might think you were headed into the River Falls neighborhood but a quick right onto the "country road" will take you Coventry Glen.

Coventry Glen is a small enclave of 80 homes built by Airston Builders in 2005-2006.  With no through streets and it's tucked away location the community feels very private.  The homes in Coventry Glen range in size to over 7000 square feet in the larger models.   The most recent sale was for $550,000 for a foreclosure with an unfinished basement.

Even though the Coventry Glen neighborhood may feel as if it is in the middle of nowhere it is only minutes to the Prince William County Center.  Major shopping for residents is within 5 minutes at the Shops at County Center which features a Harris Teeter Grocery Store, Starucks, iHop and more.  Commuter lots for travel to DC are within a few minutes and you owners can hop on the Prince William County Parkway within 2 miles.  For fun you could walk to the Potomac National Stadium to watch minor league baseball in action.

If you're interested in finding a hidden neighborhood with easy access to every day necessities with no through streets give Cindy Jones and CJ Realty Group a call at 703-346-2213.  Let us show you around Coventry Glen, River Falls, Westridge and other Woodbridge communities that meet your needs.

All the more reason to work with a local agent such as yourself who knows the area well. I often take buyers off the beaten path to neighborhoods they never even knew existed. That's one of the pluses of working your geographic area. Rather than every town in a 100-mile radius.

That reminds me of a neighborhood we have hidden in my area on an old military airstrip. You don't know it is there unless you look at a map.

Which is why it's best to work with an agent that knows the "ins and outs" of their area.

Good Evening Cindy, it sounds like a great community. Those are some of my favorites and I enjoy showing them to relocations moving into our area. Have a great evening

Cindy, I'm all for those hidden neighborhoods, they have less traffic, more nature and still have access to everything else. The prices are good, here a 7000 sq house is over 2MM.

Ellen-when these houses were originally built some of them were over 1M but now they are a great deal.
