4:56 p.m. I'm finishing up my daytime work schedule. I'll be back at it later this evening. Time to re-organize my desk for the day, I thought.
I've made calls, sent emails and scheduled showings; followed up with buyers, sellers and prospects. Ugh, got to get rid of this tickle in my throat.
Don't waste a precious minute. Get through it. You've survived tougher. Don’t give up on yourself. Get back in there champ! …
My cough drop wrapper speaks to me. Well, sort of. The tiny words printed on the wrapper jump out at me. Thank God for the little things and an eye for detail.
Life is hectic. It’s blessed to be hectic. I haven't wasted time, but have I soaked it all in? Had I missed anything? I might have missed a pep talk had I been rushing.
My challenge to myself (and you): reflect and re-organize. Here are the first few thoughts and conclusions that came to mind after reading my pep talk:
- How thankful I am to for family and genuine friends. Show them more often.
- It snowed here in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Sunday and is expected to be in the 70s on Thursday. Where else can you get that kind of best-of-both-worlds weather but in North Carolina? Adjust, as in all other aspects of life.
- Business is, well, busy. With all of the statistics and lingering doom-and-gloom being thrown around about the "national real estate market" (real estate market conditions are local), I'm blessed to be doing well—and never too busy for more business. Rest well. Be thankful. Close deals while crafting a real estate experience clients will love from start to finish.
I thought I’d share… just in case anyone else needs a pep talk from a cough drop wrapper.
